1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the TowFi mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. TowFi is owned and operated by Belmont General LLC.
2. Description of Service
TowFi is a mobile application that connects users with towing services. TowFi is NOT a lender and does NOT provide financing. TowFi acts solely as a referral service to connect users with Affirm Inc., a licensed third-party lender.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
- You must be at least 18 years old
- One account per user is permitted
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Provide false information
- Interfere with App functionality
- Harass other users or service providers
5. Towing Services
- TowFi connects you with independent towing service providers
- Service providers are independent contractors
- Pricing and service quality are determined by providers
- TowFi is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided
6. Financing Services - Important Disclosures
6.1 NOT A LENDER
TowFi is NOT a lender. TowFi does NOT extend credit, make loans, or provide financing. TowFi acts solely as a marketing referral service connecting users to Affirm Inc., a licensed third-party lender.
6.2 AFFIRM IS THE LENDER
All financing is provided by Affirm Inc., a licensed lender operating in all 50 states. Affirm makes all credit decisions. TowFi has no role in approving or denying loan applications.
6.3 APR AND LOAN TERMS
- Annual Percentage Rates (APR) range from 0% to 36%
- Loan terms range from 3 to 36 months
- Your specific APR and terms are determined solely by Affirm based on your creditworthiness
- All rates and terms will be clearly disclosed by Affirm before you accept any loan
6.4 CREDIT AUTHORIZATION
By clicking "Apply for Financing" you authorize:
- TowFi to share your application information with Affirm
- Affirm to obtain your consumer credit report
- Electronic delivery of loan documents and disclosures
6.5 CREDIT INQUIRIES
- Affirm will perform a soft credit inquiry to provide loan options
- Soft inquiries do not affect your credit score
- If you accept a loan offer, Affirm will perform a hard credit inquiry
- Hard inquiries may temporarily affect your credit score
6.6 TOWFI HANDLING FEE
TowFi charges a 20% handling fee on the tow service cost. This fee covers:
- Virtual card generation and management
- Secure payment processing through Stripe
- Platform technology and maintenance
- Customer support services
Example: For a $100 tow, you'll pay $120 total ($100 tow + $20 TowFi fee).
6.7 NO PREPAYMENT PENALTIES
Affirm loans have no prepayment penalties. You may pay off your loan early without additional charges.
6.8 STATE-SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES

6.9 CUSTOMER SERVICE
7. Security and Authentication
TowFi offers optional two-factor authentication (2FA) using Face ID or Touch ID. Biometric data is stored securely on your device only — TowFi does not access, collect, or store your biometric data.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Limitation of Liability
Belmont General LLC is not liable for:
- Actions of third-party towing service providers
- Damages during towing services
- Service delays or unavailability
- Credit decisions made by Affirm
- Terms or conditions of loans provided by Affirm
- Collection activities by Affirm or its agents
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Texas law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
12. Refund and Cancellation Policy
All cancellations and service-related refund requests must be directed to the towing provider. TowFi will only adjust or cancel Affirm financing after the towing provider has refunded the original transaction.
